If you combine bedaquiline with certain drugs that affect liver enzymes or heart rhythm medications, negative interactions may occur. In some cases, these combinations may increase your risk for potentially dangerous complications, such as changes in heart rhythm. To avoid these and other problems, make sure your healthcare provider is aware of all medications, vitamins, and supplements you are taking.


An Overview of Bedaquiline Interactions

Bedaquiline (Sirturo™) can potentially react with several other medications. Some of the drug that may interact with bedaquiline include but are not limited to:
  • Medications that cause a certain change in the heart rhythm known as QT prolongation (see QT-Prolonging Medications for a list of such drugs).
