Ivacaftor is prescribed for the treatment of cystic fibrosis. It is specifically designed to treat adults and children as young as six years old who have specific gene mutations. Are There Side Effects?

Just like any medicine, ivacaftor may cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the drug will experience problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well.
