Tripedia Use in Older Children and Adults

This vaccine is not recommended for use in adults or children over the age of seven. For such individuals, the Tdap vaccine (the adult version of Tripedia) or the Td vaccine (which does not contain the pertussis component) should be used, depending on the person's age as well as other factors.
 

Off-Label Uses for Tripedia

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Tripedia for something other than the purposes discussed in this article (this would be known as an "off-label" use). At this time, however, there are no universally accepted off-label Tripedia uses.
