Triglide Drug Interactions

When certain medications are used in combination with Triglide, drug interactions may occur. Some medicines that can potentially interact with Triglide include bile acid sequestrants, statins, cyclosporine, and warfarin. Triglide drug interactions can increase your risk of bleeding or kidney and muscle problems, as well as decrease the absorption of Triglide into the body, among other things. You should talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider about any drug interactions with Triglide that may apply to you.

Warfarin (Coumadin, Jantoven)
Triglide can increase the anticoagulant effect of warfarin. This means that you are at an increased risk of bleeding if you are taking both Triglide and warfarin. Your healthcare provider may choose to monitor your INR and prothrombin time more frequently and make any necessary dosing adjustments. Prothrombin time and INR are tests used to measure how well your blood is clotting
