Triglide DosageFor people with high triglycerides and normal LDL cholesterol levels, Triglide dosage generally starts at 50 mg to 160 mg once a day. The recommended starting dose for people with high cholesterol, with or without high triglycerides, is 160 mg once a day. Your healthcare provider may start you on a lower Triglide dose, such as 50 mg once a day, if you are over the age of 65 or have severe kidney disease. A few factors that can affect Triglide dosing include your age, the medical condition being treated, and other medical conditions you may have.
