What If I Take an Overdose of Triamcinolone Nasal Spray?

In most instances, an overdose of triamcinolone nasal spray is not likely to cause serious problems. Even using an entire bottle at once is unlikely to cause serious overdose symptoms. However, using too much triamcinolone nasal spray over a long period of time may cause problems.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Triamcinolone Nasal Spray?

If you forget to take your triamcinolone nasal spray dose, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
 

Strengths of Triamcinolone Nasal Spray

The medication comes in one strength -- containing 120 sprays in each bottle -- with 55 mcg of triamcinolone nasal spray in each dose.
 

Is There a Generic Version of Triamcinolone Nasal Spray?

Currently, there is no generic triamcinolone nasal spray licensed for sale (see Generic Nasacort AQ).
