Drug Interactions With Triamcinolone Nasal Spray

Triamcinolone nasal spray (Nasacort® AQ, Nasacort® Allergy 24HR) is a medication used to treat nasal allergy symptoms. It belongs to a group of medications known as nasal steroids. It is unlikely to interact with other medications.

Since it is a nasal spray, studies have shown that only a small amount of the drug is absorbed into the bloodstream. Therefore, it is unlikely to affect other medications, and other medications are unlikely to have an effect on triamcinolone nasal spray. People are typically not advised to use more than one steroid nasal spray at a time, as this is unlikely to be beneficial and may increase the risk of side effects.
