Temozolimide

Temozolomide (Temodar®) is a drug prescribed for use in people who have certain types of brain tumors. It is given in combination with radiation therapy to treat an aggressive brain tumor known as glioblastoma multiforme, and is also approved to treat anaplastic astrocytoma, another type of brain tumor, when other chemotherapy treatments have failed.
 
Clinical studies have shown that most people using this medicine will develop some type of side effect, such as nausea, vomiting, or fatigue. You may not be able to use this drug if you have certain medical conditions, such as a seizure disorder or liver disease, or certain allergies.
