Tacrolimus Level

Your specific dose of
 tacrolimus (Prograf®, Protopic®) will be determined by various factors, including your weight, your tacrolimus blood levels, and other medications you are taking. This drug comes in an oral form (capsules), an injectable (IV) form, and an ointment.
 
The capsules are taken by mouth twice daily, 12 hours apart. The ointment is applied to the skin twice daily. The injection is given as a continuous slow infusion into a vein over two to six hours.
