What If I Receive an Overdose?

An intentional overdose with this medication is unlikely, as it is usually given by a healthcare provider in a healthcare setting. Nonetheless, as with any medicine, it is important to seek immediate medical attention if you or someone else may have been given too much streptozocin.

Storage Information

Streptozocin will normally be stored by your healthcare provider. It is stored refrigerated and protected from light until mixed. Once mixed, the medication must be used within 12 hours. Because it does not contain preservatives, any unused medicine must be thrown out; it cannot be saved for another dose.
Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children and pets.
