What If I Take an Overdose?

As with any medication, it is possible to take too much sodium picosulfate/magnesium oxide/anhydrous citric acid. Seek immediate medical attention if you may have overdosed on this product. An overdose is unlikely, however, as only enough for the two doses is usually provided.

Storage Information

Sodium picosulfate/magnesium oxide/anhydrous citric acid should be stored in its original packet at room temperature until mixed. Mix it right before use; do not mix it ahead of time and refrigerate it as is often recommended with other bowel-prep medications. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children.
 

What If I Miss a Dose of Sodium Picosulfate/Magnesium Oxide/Anhydrous Citric Acid?

If you forget to take one of your sodium picosulfate/magnesium oxide/anhydrous citric acid doses, take it as soon as you remember and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take two doses at the same time. If you forget to use this product before your procedure, tell your healthcare provider. Your procedure may need to be rescheduled.
