Can Children Use Sinecatechins?

Sinecatechins is approved for treating genital or perianal warts in people age 18 and older. However, this does not prevent a healthcare provider from prescribing sinecatechins for someone under the age of 18 as an "off-label" (unapproved) use.
 

What About Off-Label Sinecatechins Uses?

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend this drug for something other than the conditions discussed in this article. This is called an "off-label" use. Off-label uses for sinecatechins might include treating other types of warts. Theoretically, it might also be useful for treating skin cancer or precancerous lesions.
