Simvistatin
Were you looking for more information about Simvastatin? Simvistatin is a common misspelling of simvastatin.
Simvastatin (Zocor®) is a prescription medicine licensed for the prevention of cardiovascular disease and the treatment of high cholesterol and high triglycerides. It works by blocking the enzyme that controls cholesterol production in the body, which can help reduce LDL levels ("bad cholesterol"), decrease triglycerides, and increase HDL levels ("good cholesterol"). Simvastatin comes in tablet form and is typically taken one a day. Side effects of the medication may include muscle pain, abdominal pain, and constipation.
