Sandimmune

How Should Sandimmune Be Stored?

Sandimmune capsules should be stored at room temperature. You may notice an odor when you first open the unit container. This is normal and not a cause for concern. The odor should go away soon after opening the container.

Sandimmune oral solution should be stored in its original container at temperatures below 86°F (30°C). Do not store the container in the refrigerator or allow it to freeze. Once opened, the oral solution must be used within two months.

Sandimmune injection should be stored at temperatures below 86°F (30°C), away from light.

Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you miss your Sandimmune dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, however, skip the one you missed and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
