Rosuvastatin Overdose

It is not known what exactly to expect in the case of an overdose. If you happen to overdose on rosuvastatin, seek immediate medical attention (see Crestor Overdose).
 

Storage Methods

Rosuvastatin should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture. Keep rosuvastatin and all medications out of the reach of children.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you forget to take your dose as scheduled, take the next dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Never take a double dose.
 

Who Makes It?

Rosuvastatin (sold under the brand-name Crestor) is manufactured by IPR Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and is marketed and distributed by AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals.
 

Rosuvastatin Strengths

Rosuvastatin tablets are available in the following strengths:
 
  • Rosuvastatin 5 mg
  • Rosuvastatin 10 mg
  • Rosuvastatin 20 mg
  • Rosuvastatin 40 mg.

 

Is There a Generic Version of Rosuvastatin?

Currently, Crestor is not available in generic form.
