Drug Interactions With Risedronate

Drug interactions with risedronate can occur when it is combined with aspirin, calcium products, or several other medications. Food and beverages (other than water) can also interfere with risedronate, preventing it from being absorbed into the body and making it less effective. To reduce your risk of drug interactions with risedronate, do not eat or drink anything (besides water) for 30 minutes after taking the drug.
