Rabeprazole Uses in Pathological Hypersecretory Conditions
Rabeprazole has been approved for long-term treatment for people who produce too much stomach acid (known as pathological hypersecretory conditions). The most common of these conditions is Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
 

Rabeprazole Uses in Children

Rabeprazole is approved for use treating GERD in adolescents age 12 and older. It is not approved for use in younger children.
 

Off-Label Rabeprazole Uses

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend a drug for something other than the conditions it is licensed to treat. This is called an "off-label" use. At this time, there are no known off-label uses for rabeprazole.
