Questron

Were you looking for information about Questran? Questron is a common misspelling of Questran.

As a bile acid sequestrant, Questran® (cholestyramine) can treat high cholesterol and itching caused by partial biliary obstruction. In most cases, people tolerate this prescription medication well. However, it is not suitable for everyone. Possible side effects include constipation, stomach discomfort, and gas. Also, make sure your healthcare provider is aware of any other medical conditions you have, as well as any other medications you are taking (including vitamins and herbal supplements) before starting the medication. Questran is available in powder form and should be mixed with liquids before taken.
