Questran Drug Interactions

Propranolol
Questran may bind with propranolol in the intestines, preventing it from getting completely absorbed into the body. You can prevent this by taking propranolol at least one hour before or four to six hours after you take your Questran.
 
Tetracycline
Questran may bind with tetracycline in the intestines, preventing it from getting completely absorbed into the body. You can prevent this by taking tetracycline at least one hour before or four to six hours after you take your Questran.
 
Penicillin G
Questran may bind with penicillin G in the intestines, preventing it from getting completely absorbed into the body. You can prevent this by taking penicillin G at least one hour before or four to six hours after you take your Questran.
 
Phenobarbital
Questran may bind with phenobarbital in the intestines, preventing it from getting completely absorbed into the body. You can prevent this by taking phenobarbital at least one hour before or four to six hours after you take your Questran.
 
Thyroid Medicines
Questran may bind with thyroid medicines in the intestines, preventing it from getting completely absorbed into the body. You can prevent this by taking thyroid medicines at least one hour before or four to six hours after you take your Questran.
 
Estrogens and Progestins
Questran may bind with medicines that contain estrogens and/or progestins in the intestines, preventing them from getting completely absorbed into the body. These medicines should be taken at least one hour before or four to six hours after you take your Questran to help prevent this.
 
Digoxin
Questran may bind with digoxin in the intestines, preventing the drug from getting completely absorbed into the body. It is recommended that you take digoxin at least one hour before or four to six hours after you take your Questran.
