Pravostatin

 Pravastatin? Pravostatin is a common misspelling of pravastatin.
 
Pravastatin (Pravachol®) is a prescription medication approved for treating high cholesterol in adults and children ages 8 to 18. It is also licensed to treat high triglycerides and to prevent heart disease and other heart-related problems. Pravastatin comes in tablet form and is available in four different strengths. You should talk to your healthcare provider before using the drug if you are pregnant, or have liver or kidney disease. Potential side effects include diarrhea, unexplained rash, and nausea.
