Pravestatin

Pravastatin (Pravachol®) is a medicine used for lowering triglyceride and cholesterol levels. By reducing the levels of these substances, the medication can also decrease your risk of developing heart disease and other heart-related problems. Some of the side effects that have been reported with this drug include nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, and headache. Before your healthcare provider prescribes you any pravastatin products, make sure he or she is aware if you have liver or kidney disease, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
