Sedation
Typically, a Phenergan dose of 12.5 to 25 mg (in tablet, rectal suppository, or syrup form) will produce sedation in children. Adults, however, usually require a higher amount (up to 50 mg of Phenergan).

Allergies
The standard recommended dosage of Phenergan for treating allergies is 25 mg before bedtime. If necessary, smaller, more frequent doses can be given.

Motion Sickness
The recommended amount for treating motion sickness in adults is 25 mg twice daily. A similar dosing regimen is recommended for children, except with a lower dose of Phenergan (12.5 to 25 mg twice daily).

Nausea and Vomiting
A typical Phenergan dose for treating nausea and vomiting in adults is 12.5 to 25 mg every four to six hours as needed. For children, the healthcare provider will calculate the amount based on your child's weight.
