What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your ondansetron as scheduled, take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose of ondansetron.
 

Who Makes Ondansetron?

It is manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline.
 

Strengths

Ondansetron in several strengths and forms:
 
  • Ondansetron 4 mg tablets
  • Ondansetron 8 mg tablets
  • Ondansetron ODT 4 mg orally disintegrating tablets
  • Ondansetron ODT 8 mg orally disintegrating tablets
  • Ondansetron oral solution 5 mg per 5 mL (one teaspoon)
  • Ondansetron injection.
     
There is currently no over-the-counter ondansetron available.

There is currently no generic ondansetron licensed for sale.
