Omeprazole DosingWhen treating conditions of the esophagus, stomach, and intestines with omeprazole, dosing guidelines will vary depending on many factors, such as your age, the medical condition being treated, other medications you are taking, and other medical conditions you have. When given to children, the dose of omeprazole will also vary depending on weight. Omeprazole comes in the form of a capsule that is taken once or twice a day. In order for the medication to work properly, you must take it as prescribed.
