Omeprasole
Were you looking for more information about Omeprazole? Omeprasole is a common misspelling of omeprazole.
Omeprazole (Prilosec®) is a medication often prescribed to treat conditions related to the esophagus, stomach, and intestines. By decreasing acid production in the stomach, the drug can help treat pathological hypersecretory conditions, ulcers, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Before you start using omeprazole, it is important to talk to your healthcare provider if you are pregnant, have liver disease, or have any allergies.
The prescription version of omeprazole comes in capsule form and is available in three different strengths. Packets to make an oral suspension are also available.
