Norpace CR 100 Mg

If you have a certain heart rhythm problem known as ventricular arrhythmia, your healthcare provider may recommend 100 mg of Norpace® CR (disopyramide). Your specific dosage, however, will depend on your weight, age, and how you respond to the medication, among other factors.

You will receive your initial doses in a hospital, where you can be closely monitored. This controlled-release capsule is designed to release the medication slowly over time and is usually taken twice daily, with 12 hours between doses.

This prescription medicine is reserved for use in adults who have life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias. Norpace CR works by prolonging the time that the heart responds to a new electrical signal, which may be trying to come through prematurely.
