Nicotine Nasal Spray Side Effects

Nasal irritation is the most commonly reported side effect of nicotine nasal spray. It usually goes away after a few days, but can persist. In general, most people tolerate this medication well and side effects, if they occur, are mild and easily treated. However, there are some potentially serious problems to be aware of, such as allergic reactions, nasal ulcers, and nicotine overdose.

If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.
