MonoNessaMonoNessa is a combined oral contraceptive, which is one of the most common forms of birth control. It contains two hormones (progestin and estrogen) that prevent pregnancy by stopping ovulation, changing the cervical mucus, and altering the endometrium. Each pack of this medication holds 28 pills; you must take one tablet at the same time each day. Potential side effects include breakthrough bleeding, vomiting, and headache.
