mometasone nasal spray dose unless your healthcare provider specifically instructs you to do so.
Mometasone Nasal Spray Dosing for Nasal Allergies
The recommended mometasone nasal spray dose for nasal
allergy treatment in adults and children age 12 and older is two sprays of mometasone nasal spray in each nostril (four sprays total) once daily. For this age group, mometasone nasal spray is also approved for use in preventing seasonal
allergies. For this use, the mometasone nasal spray dose is the same, started two to four weeks before the anticipated beginning of allergy season.
For children age 2 to 11 years old, the recommended dose for treating nasal allergies is one spray of mometasone nasal spray in each nostril once daily.
Mometasone Nasal Spray Dosing for Nasal Polyps
For adults, the recommended mometasone nasal spray dose for treating nasal polyps is two sprays of mometasone nasal spray in each nostril twice daily (a total of eight sprays per day). Mometasone nasal spray is not approved to treat nasal polyps in children.
