Minoxodil

Were you looking for information about Minoxidil? Minoxodil is a common misspelling of minoxidil.

Minoxidil (Rogaine®) is an over-the-counter (OTC) product licensed to treat male and female pattern baldness with hair loss on the top and front of the head. Although it is not a cure for hair loss, the medicine can help temporarily stop hair loss and regrow hair in some people. Although there are two strengths available (2% and 5%), women should only use the 2% formulation, as the higher strength may increase the risk for unwanted facial hair. Side effects may include a dry, flaky, and itchy scalp.
