Medroxyprogesterone Subcutaneous Injection Side Effects

While most reactions to medroxyprogesterone subcutaneous injection are generally minor, notify your healthcare provider right away if you are receiving these injections and develop a severe headache, a sudden loss of vision, or other potentially serious problems. Some common side effects of medroxyprogesterone subcutaneous injection include headaches, weight gain, and skin reactions at the injection site.

In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.
