Although an overdose of this medication is unlikely (given the nature of the medication and how it is administered), seek immediate medical attention if you or someone else may have overdosed on medroxyprogesterone subcutaneous injection.

What If I Miss a Dose of Medroxyprogesterone Subcutaneous Injection?

If you miss an injection, contact your healthcare provider. If it has been longer than 14 weeks since your last shot, your healthcare provider will need to make sure you are not pregnant before giving you another dose. You should use another form of birth control to prevent pregnancy until you receive your next shot.
