Were you looking for information about Phenergan? Finergan is a common misspelling of Phenergan.
Phenergan® (promethazine hydrochloride) is commonly used as a nausea medication. It is also approved for the treatment of motion sickness, various types of allergies, and other conditions. This medication is available by prescription and comes in many different forms, including tablets, a syrup, rectal suppositories, and an injection.
The medicine is typically taken one to three times a day, depending on your age and the condition being treated. Because Phenergan is not suitable for everyone, tell your healthcare provider about all medical conditions you have before taking it. It should not be given to children under the age of two.
