Pantoprazole Drug Interactions: An Introduction

Pantoprazole sodium ("pantoprazole") -- sold under the brand name Protonix® -- potentially has a number of medicines with which it can interact. Examples of such medications include:
 
  

Atazanavir

Taking atazanavir with medications like pantoprazole can significantly decrease the level of atazanavir in your blood, perhaps making it less effective. It is not recommended to take these medications together.
