Drugs Home > Drug Interactions With Mometasone Nasal Spray

Mometasone nasal spray (Nasonex®) can potentially interact with one other medication, ketoconazole (Nizoral®). Combining ketoconazole with mometasone nasal spray may increase the level of mometasone nasal spray in your blood, increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to decrease your mometasone nasal spray dosage, although this may not be necessary.
It is possible that there are other mometasone nasal spray drug interactions that are not known at this time. Therefore, you should talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider about the specific drug interactions with mometasone nasal spray that may apply to your situation.
