What If I Take an Overdose?

How Should Lansoprazole Be Stored?

Lansoprazole should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your lansoprazole as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Never take a double dose.

Forms and Strengths of Lansoprazole

Prescription lansoprazole comes in two strengths (15 mg and 30 mg) and in the following forms:
Nonprescription lansoprazole comes in only one strength -- Prevacid 24HR 15 mg capsules.

Is There a Generic Version of Lansoprazole?
