Drugs Home > Drug Interactions With Flunisolide Nasal Solution

Flunisolide nasal solution (Nasarel™, Nasalide®) is a prescription medication used to treat nasal allergy symptoms. It belongs to a group of medications known as nasal steroids. Although the drug is in nasal spray form, it is absorbed into the bloodstream to some extent and could possibly interact with other medications. However, no significant drug interactions with flunisolide nasal solution are known at this time. People are generally not advised to use more than one steroid (oral or nasal spray) at the same time, as this is unlikely to be beneficial and may increase the risk of side effects.

There may be drug interactions with flunisolide nasal solution that are unknown at this time. Therefore, you should talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider about the specific interactions that may apply to you.
