Dosing Information

The dose of desloratadine your healthcare provider recommends will vary, depending on a number of factors, including:
 
  • Your age
  • The condition being treated
  • Other medical conditions you may have
  • Other drugs you may be currently taking.

Possible Side Effects

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with desloratadine; however, not everyone who takes this drug will experience problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If people do develop side effects, in most cases, they are minor, meaning they require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider.
