Drugs Home > Drug Interactions With Cyclosporine Ophthalmic Emulsion

Cyclosporine ophthalmic emulsion (Restasis®) is a prescription eye drop approved for the treatment of chronic dry eyes. It helps the eye produce more tears when tear production is decreased due to eye inflammation. At this time, cyclosporine ophthalmic emulsion does not have any known drug interactions.

However, you should always tell your healthcare provider about all medications you are taking (including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and vitamins or supplements). Even though there are no interactions known at this point, it is important to understand that this eye drop has not been tested with all other medications. Therefore, there may be drug interactions that may be discovered in the future.
