Off-Label Uses for Cutivate

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend this medicine for something other than the treatment of itching and inflammation of the skin. This is known as an "off-label" use. For instance, Cutivate is sometimes prescribed off-label to treat the following conditions:

  • Penile adhesions or phimosis (typically in young boys)
  • Labial adhesions (typically in young girls)
  • Vitiligo.

In addition, using Cutivate Lotion to treat psoriasis, eczema, or anything except atopic dermatitis would be an off-label use.
