Dosing Information for Carfilzomib

The dose of carfilzomib your healthcare provider recommends will vary, based on a number of factors, such as:
  • Your height and weight
  • How well you tolerate the medication.

What If I Overdose on This Drug?

It is not entirely known what to expect from an overdose with this medicine. Seek immediate medical attention if you believe you may have been given too much carfilzomib.

Storage Information

Carfilzomib will normally be stored by your healthcare provider. It should be stored refrigerated, in its original package, and protected from light.
This medication must be mixed with Sterile Water for Injection prior to use. Once prepared for use, carfilzomib can be stored refrigerated for up to 24 hours or at room temperature for up to 4 hours.
Keep this and all other medicines out of the reach of children and pets.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Carfilzomib?

If you miss an appointment to receive your carfilzomib dose, contact your healthcare provider right away to reschedule. It is important to try to remember all your healthcare appointments while receiving this medicine.
