Because canakinumab can interfere with various products, tell your healthcare provider about all prescription and nonprescription medications you are taking, as well as any vitamins and herbal supplements. Potentially serious interactions may occur if canakinumab is combined with certain drugs, such as certain biologics, FluMist, and echinacea. These reactions can lead to serious side effects or decrease the effectiveness of the drugs.
