Azelastine/fluticasone nasal spray (
Dymista™) is a prescription medication approved to treat seasonal nasal
allergies in adults and children as young as 12 years old. It contains two different medications that work in different ways to help treat nasal allergies.
Just like any medicine, azelastine/fluticasone nasal spray may cause side effects. However, not everyone who uses the drug will experience problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well.
If reactions do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
- A distorted sense of taste
- Headache
- Nosebleed.
