Levora Side Effects

Nausea, headaches, and changes in sex drive are some of the common side effects reported with birth control pills like Levora. Side effects can be bothersome but are not dangerous in most cases. However, there are some side effects of Levora that are potentially serious and should be reported to your healthcare provider right away, including depression, heavy spotting, and high cholesterol.

An Introduction to Levora Side Effects

Levora® (levonorgestrel/ethinyl estradiol) is a generic version of Nordette®. As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Levora; however, not all women who use the contraceptive will experience side effects. In fact, most women tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider.
