Who Should Not Take Levocetirizine?

You should not take levocetirizine if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Xyzal, levocetirizine dihydrochloride, or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Have end-stage kidney disease.
     
  • Are undergoing dialysis treatment.
     
  • Are age 6 to 11 years old and have any kidney problems.
