How Should Leuprolide Be Stored?

The long-acting subcutaneous injection (Eligard) should be stored in the refrigerator between 35.6° and 46.4°F. Allow the medicine to come to room temperature before using it. The other forms of leuprolide should be stored at room temperature away from heat and light. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children and pets.

Eligard is manufactured by Tolmar, Inc., for Tolmar Therapeutics, Inc. It is distributed by sanofi-aventis U.S., LLC. Lupron Depot is manufactured by Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited for Abbott Laboratories.
Lupron was originally manufactured by Abbott Laboratories. However, it is no longer available as a brand-name medication. Generic versions are made by a few different companies, including Sandoz, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc., and Teva Pharmaceuticals.
