Drug Interactions With Leuprolide

Many diabetes drugs can potentially interact with leuprolide, including acarbose, insulin, metformin, and glimepiride. Leuprolide has been known to increase blood sugar, so if you already have diabetes, you may need to monitor your blood sugar more frequently during treatment. Before starting treatment with leuprolide, tell your healthcare provider about any other medications you are taking.
