Lanzoprazole

This prescription medication is classified as a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) and works by decreasing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. As with any drug, there are possible side effects with lansoprazole. Some of the common side effects seen with this drug include nausea, headaches, and diarrhea. Among the conditions that you should let your healthcare provider know about before you take it include liver disease or any allergies.
