Ketorolac tromethamine (Toradol®) is a prescription medication licensed to treat moderate to severe pain on a short-term basis. This medication comes in the form of tablets or can be used through an IV or injection. Ketorolac is a type of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and is typically used to treat pain following a procedure, but it can also be used to relieve back pain, cancer pain, and pain caused by kidney stones.
