Drug Interactions With Ingenol Mebutate

Ingenol mebutate (Picato®) appears to be unlikely to interact with other medications. It is reasonable to expect that it might, at least theoretically, react with other skin medications, especially ones that are harsh or could cause irritation. In most cases, ingenol mebutate causes skin reactions, which can vary from redness to severe open sores. Choose gentle skincare products while using this medication.
As a precaution, it is recommended to avoid using ingenol mebutate in combination with other actinic keratosis medications. Do not start ingenol mebutate until your skin has healed from any other procedure or medications.
